Instacart has always delivered very quickly and usually finds everything I am looking for. The shoppers have been so polite and helpful always.!! My only complaint is that I always have to pay what prices have been posted on their app..instead of them running our groceries through a checkout. So knowing this now, I will be careful as to buying or not buying certain items that I know i can buy another brand much cheaper. But with this said, its not a big deal because im now informed about how their app works and its such a helpful service when you are sick or too busy to shopping. Thank you very much for your service INSTACART! I will definitely be using their services again! Tamara

Free trial went fairly well, BUT won't sign up for Instacart Express membership because I can't find a good explanation of benefits. I want to know what i am getting for $99.

So far, I have not had the bad experiences I have read about in the other reviews. I am in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area and I have used Instacart for months to shop at Acme and Aldi in our area. I like being able to select specific replacements in advance or opting to not have something replaced. I find I have good communication with the shoppers via the App. They tell me when they are starting shopping, if something is out and confirm replacements or refunds or ask questions, if needed. I have been working from home as most people have and I love the convenience. I always try to give an appropriate tip (sometimes based on the weather too, if it is nasty out) and can't believe the stories that some people put a big tip in at first and then remove it after delivery. That is just wrong. Instacart should not allow that. They should only allow for an additional tip and not the removal of the one already promised.As long as the good service continues, I will continue to use Instacart.

Whenever I’m in quarantine or when im too busy to shop, I use instacart. They offer great service. One time I had a problem with my order, I called the support line, the lady was super nice and professional and she got my problem fixed immediately.

"Best service ever"

I live in Canada and wanted to have a gift delivered to a friend who had helped us out. We went on line and placed our order. This was in St. Petersburg, Florida and our shopper was Alex! He was amazing. He picked up our order and kept us posted of his progress all the way from shop to delivery. Amazingly from start to finish it took less than 45 minutes. I highly recommend this service and will use it again. Also, Alex you were wonderful. Thanks so much.

I consider Instacart as one of our nation's first responders. I've used Instacart for almost 7 years and never had an issue. They are consistently on time and the quality of groceries I receive are excellent. Recently with the Coronavirus pandemic, Instacart has been stretched to their limit, yet I still get my orders delivered in a reasonable time and they provide good replacements for items that are not available. I love you Instacart! I'm your forever Fan!!! Keep up the GREAT work!

"My first experience was great"

Hmmm. It's a shame (and a bit scary) to read so many negative reviews. I just used Instacart for the first time and had no problems (as far as I know, although I will be going over my next bank statement to make sure they didn't charge me twice.) I don't mind paying a little extra for groceries because of the convenience. However, I gave it four stars instead of five because it appears they don't treat their employees well. A five percent default tip is ridiculous. The default tip should be 15%, the typical tip amount. I gave my shopper a 15% tip on your website and also gave her a couple of extra dollars when she arrived. Your workers need to make a living. Perhaps all the negative reviews are reflecting how you treat your shoppers, If you don't care, why should they?
